I hate the fact that I have standard human eyes! Strongly limiting the way I can see my environment differently from any of the other 7 billion guys down here. And unfortunately God didn’t accept my request for exchanging these eyes with some from another/wild animal.

Since I’m a child I love to play with glass objects, looking through them and admiring the distortions that it creates. So one day, I thought why not trying to use this with my camera. I started getting obsessed, looking everywhere I was going for any kind of glass objects that I could use to make some kind of “lens filters”, having to often break them (and cutting my hands most of the time as I was too stupid/excited to wear gloves). After several shots, with different objects, subjects, positions of the “filters” in front the camera, I got some pictures that I’m quite happy with.

The way I named the serie simply reflects my feeling when I’m looking at our world. With or without any glass objects. It gives me such a delicious nausea that I got addicted to it.

There is obviously no Photoshop treatment at all on these images, only some Lightroom raw processing to adjust lights and colors.
